Undercoating

As one of the many services we provide, undercoating is one we feel very strongly about. Undercoating your vehicle will help keep the rust away and keep the vehicle on the road longer! 

At Twisted Wrench, we offer vehicle undercoating with the option of two products, Fluid Film and New Hampshire Oil Undercoat (NHOU). Both of these products work to protect your vehicle from rust that can cause the vehicle to be unsafe and fail state inspection. Both products are non-toxic and non-hazardous. Undercoating is a protective treatment applied to the underside of vehicles to prevent rust and corrosion, which are major threats to automotive safety and longevity. Both Fluid Film and NHOU form a non-drying barrier on all metal surfaces. This barrier slows down existing rust and prevents new rust from forming. Since corrosion caused by salt, mud, and other elements deteriorates vehicles, undercoating is essential for maintaining structural integrity, safety, and vehicle value. In Vermont, the salt brine we use on our roads during the winter is a huge factor in the rust we see when working on your vehicle.
